Flames To End Season Tonight In Chicago

The season has come to and end, almost. One last game stands in the way of great tee times and playoff-less hockey in Cowtown. Tonight at 6:30 PM MT, the Calgary Flames will take on the Chicago Blackhawks in a game that has absolutely no meaning whatsoever.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the Blackhawks are leading the season series 2-0. A few nights ago Chicago clinched the Presidents’ Trophy that is awarded to the team with the best regular-season record in the NHL. The ‘Hawks are lead by all-stars Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane who have played in all 46 games so far this season and have a combined 101 points. Both goalies for Chicago have been getting it done. Corey Crawford (18-5-5, .925 SV%) and Ray Emery (17-1-0, .922 SV%) are arguably the best goalie pair in the whole league.

The lines and healthy scratches for the Flames are yet to be announced but you can find out as they are released by following @Flame_4_Thought on Twitter!

The Flames should lose this one. The final will be 5-2. Kiprusoff picks up a loss in his final NHL start while Baertschi and Hudler score the two goals.

Puck drop is at 6:30 PM MT. You can listen to the game on Fan960, watch it on TV on Sportsnet West and watch a live internet stream here.
