Joni Ortio and the Calgary Flames host the Nashville Predators tonight at the Saddledome.

Kenny Agostino joins the third line tonight in his NHL debut after being acquired by the Flames in the trade involving former captain, Jarome Iginla. The projected lines are familiar but, as has been the trend this season, I’m sure Hartley will entertain and surprise us by switching it up a little. Is tonight the night we go to a shootout and see Brian McGrattan take the first shot? Will Karri Ramo be a last-minute replacement for Ortio? We will see.

It’s the battle at the bottom tonight. Nashville is in 25th place in the standings with 68 points while the Flames are in 26th place with 63 points. Will the Flames steal two points tonight in hopes of surpassing the Predators in the standings soon?

In my opinion, Shea Weber is one of the most powerful offensive defensemen in the league and it will take some serious fire-power from the Flames offensive team to get them on the board and keep them ahead.

All updates and game previews can be seen on the Flames website.

The puck drops at 7pm MST and the game will be broadcast on SportsNet West. Or you can listen in on The Fan 960 radio.
