<p>Look, <a href="http://flames.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8470151" target="_blank">Jay Bouwmeester</a> has been the butt of so many jokes and the inspiration of many complaints and I&#8217;d like to return him to the <a href="therattrick.com" target="_blank">Florida Panthers</a> for defectiveness.  Calgary Flames did not get what they paid for and if it&#8217;s at all possible, I&#8217;d like to exchange him for store credit.  Or at least a defensemen that doesn&#8217;t forget how to play.</p>

<p>Once again, I&#8217;ve been tricked by the Calgary Flames into thinking things would change this summer.  But it seems to be much the same.  Six days into free agency, the Flames have left me wonder exactly what direction the team will be moving in this upcoming season.  Adding Bob Hartley and his coaching staff to the bench was a bright spot of the summer.  In the hopes that the team would move with the change of the bench, I looked forward to this off season.  Strategic moves to help the team flourish, build a more youthful base, and shed the dead weight dragging down the team was what I had envisioned.  Instead this happened:</p>
