The biggest question going into tonight’s game in St. Louis, who’s going to be the starting goaltender.  When polled, the Flame For Thought family voted 55% in favor of Karri Ramo.  Calgary Flames coach Bob Hartley voted for Jonas Hiller.

The flu bug has forced coach Bob Hartley to find a replacement for Jiri Hudler.  As of this writing tweets from Fan 960 voice Derek Wills and Calgary Sun reporter Randy Sportak that Sean Monahan’s new right wing for tonight will be – – Devin Setoguchi!  The expression doghouse to penthouse never really made any sense until right now!!

The answer to “Dennis Wideman and Brian McGrattan, do they play Saturday” is yes on both accounts.

Dennis Wideman draws back in for Rafa Diaz.  Laddy Smid and Dennis Wideman are listed as a defensive pairing – – EEEP!  Hopefully Smid finds his defensive zone game tonight SIGH.

Brian McGrattan  draws back in for David Jones.  The opening night trio of Brandon Bollig-Matt Stajan-Brian McGrattan have been re-united for tonight.  I thought the trio looked good opening night and Bollig will have a little extra motivation playing in his home state of St. Louis.

With Mason Raymond scoring 3 goals all assisted by Joe Colborne, you knew they would be a tandem tonight.   Their left winger – – Johnny Gaudreau!  I will predict Johnny Gaudreau gets his 1st point of the season tonight in St. Louis.
