Players Back and Forth To Abbotsford

Since Thursday, Calgay Flames’ lineup has changed a bit.

Guillaume Desbiens, the forward recalled from the Abbotsford Heat in the beginning of February, was assigned back to Abbotsford Thursday night.  While up with the Flames, Desbiens played in 5 games and recorded 0 goals, 0 assists, and 5 PIM.

In addition to Desbiens, Leland Irving was reassigned to the Heat this evening after being recalled Wednesday.  Irving was in goal last night against the Anaheim Ducks where he gave up 3 goals while averaging a .921 SV% and blocking 35 shots.  Flames lost to the Ducks, continuing the “Curse of the Ponda” for another game.
