Here is some information about what has been going on in the world of Flames hockey this week.

Calgary Sun reporter Wes Gilbertson reports here that Galiardi may be the next healthy scratch as the Flames player hasn’t scored since the beginning of the season. Understandably so. Galiardi has been practically invisible as of late.

Cuteness overload: Who doesn’t love kid-interviewers?? Hale Dobbyn interviews Sean Monahan on Flames TV.

Adrian Aucoin decides to retire after 17 seasons. Here is the story from ESPN. It’s always sad to hear about a former Flames player hanging up their skates for the last time because it makes me realize that I, myself, am getting older as well.

Florida Panthers are in Calgary to take on the Flames tonight. Calgary needs this win to get some momentum going. Here are the projected lines for tonight’s tilt from the NHL Flames site. I really like the Baertschi, Monahan, Hudler line because they seem to work well together to get the puck on the opposition’s net. They produce good plays that seem to be few and far between on the Flames team lately.
