Believe it or not, there are other teams in this league other than just the Calgary Flames. Sometimes, as a fan of a specific team, we forget about our rivals and other teams around the league unless we play them. Here’s some updates from the past weekend.

Yannick Weber of the Vancouver Canucks was injured this weekend while playing against the Winnipeg Jets. In his place, Yann Sauve was recalled from the Utica Comets. (The Canuck Way)

The Toronto Maple Leafs won over the Ottawa Senators with a final score of 6-3 as Phil Kessel netted a hattie during Saturday’s game. (Editor In Leaf)

The Florida Panthers lost 4-1 against the Columbus Blue Jackets as Tim Thomas‘s 26 saves couldn’t compare to Sergei Bobrovsky‘s 35. (The Rat Trick)

After a minor slump, the Boston Bruins soared over the Edmonton Oilers in a 4-0 win. Chad Johnson earned his first shutout as a part of the franchise. (Causeway Crowd)

I will get the chance to check off another item on my personal Bucket List this week when I go to see Mr. Orr at the end of this week. More on that to come…
