Tonight the Flames will take on the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Center.

The projected line-up have Jiri Hudler, Mikael Backlund, and Lee Stempniak up front on the first line while Mark Giordano and T.J. Brodie are the starting defense.

The goalie situation is a little different tonight. Reto Berra gets the nod to start in net, but, instead of Karri Ramo in as backup, Joni Ortio will dress for the Flames after being called up from Abbotsford yesterday. As Ortio explained on Flames Radio, “I think I’ve felt ready for quite some time now.” Ramo was hurt in the first period of the game against the San Jose Sharks and was later found to have an MCL injury. Kris Russell will also return to the line-up tonight after being sidelined with an upper body injury.

Mike Cammalleri is raising eyebrows again with the rumor-mill swirling about potential interest in the forward. As explained by Too Many Men On The Site, Cammalleri may have piqued the interest of some of the west coast teams. After each west coast team lost their respective games last night, it seems that Cammalleri would probably be a welcomed addition to any of the teams.

The Habs are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday night. This week they acquired Dale Weise from Vancouver in exchange for Raphael Diaz. Weise will add some grit to their front line but their blueline may be the weakness in this game while Travis Moen is out with a lower body injury.

Will the Flames be able to keep their win streak going?
