The Calgary Flames have been one of the NHL's most mediocre teams for a number of years now, but after picking their direction and struggling in 2025/26, the team are firmly committed to potentially the first full rebuild in the history of the franchise.

What that means for the immediate future however is pain, and with the organization saying goodbye to the ScotiaBank Saddledome, the 2026/27 campaign is going to be one that's full of emotions for the fanbase.
