Playing With Fire… So I Don’t Have To Listen

Hey because I am on a tropical island get away for the next few days, I’m trying to schedule a post or two to come out during the week to give you guys something to read as I frolic in the ocean.

I’m sure by now everyone has seen this, but the ever present Theo Fleury has decided to become a country crooner:

When are people going to realize?  Just because you are talented in one field doesn’t make you talented in EVERYTHING.  Step away from the recording booth and go back to what you’re good at Fleury.  You’re a great public speaker, your singing skills leave much to be desired though.  I can’t think of a single athlete who’s gone on to have a successful music career (No Shaq did NOT have success).

If you can think of any one who was truly awesome at one of the 5 major sports (professional hockey, football, basketball, baseball, or soccer) AND singing, not just a goofy single they released but something of substance, please leave it in the comments!  Bonus points if they are punk musicians!
