With another disappointing season in the books, the Calgary Flames have come to an agreement with their current coaching staff. Â The much needed shake up is starting in Calgary this summer.
Brent Sutter has been behind the Flames bench since 2009 where he has gone 118-90-38 and has never missed a game. Â In that time, the Flames did not make the playoff once and averaged 91 points a season. Â Prior to his stint in Calgary, Sutter coached the NJ Devils and Red Deer Rebels.
According to the Flames, his assistant coach Dave Lowry will not have a contract renewal as well.
What’s in store for the Flames this summer?  Coach hunting and big time line up changes will mean a very different team iced next season.
Go Flames Go!
