Ramage Signs With Calgary

The Calgary Flames announced late Thursday afternoon that they have reached an agreement with defenseman John Ramage and inked the 21-year-old to a two-year entry level contract with a base salary of $600,000 in each season and an AAV of $900,000. The contract will run through the 2014-15 season.

Ramage was drafted by the Flames 103rd overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

While recently completed his senior season at the University of Wisconsin, Ramage, accumulated 53 points in 157 games.

The St. Louis, Missouri native should crack the NHL roster next season and be a top-pair defenseman within a few years.
