On Monday, the Calgary Flames announced the rosters for the 2013 Development Camp that will begin on Thursday, July 11.
The list includes every player drafted by the Flames in the last three drafts with the exception of 2013 7th-round selection Rushan Rafikov.
Johnny Gaudreau, Mark Jankowski, Kenny Agostino, Sean Monahan, Jon Gillies, Morgan Klimchuk, Eric Roy, Tyler Wotherspoon, Pat Sieloff, Reto Berra, Joni Ortio and Laurent Brossoit are just a few of the 44 names attending the camp.
Sean Monahan looks to be the only player attending the camp with a real shot at making the NHL roster. On the back-end, 20-year-old Tyler Wotherspoon is the favorite but still may not be NHL-ready.
The camp will be held at the Canadian Olympic Park WinSport.
Media are welcome to attend all on-ice sessions. Players will be made available to the media by request beginning at approximately 11:30 am daily (except Wednesday’s at University of Calgary – beginning at 9:30 am) and at the conclusion of their training day. All on-ice sessions are open to the public.
