A familiar squad, the Vancouver Canucks, is next on the list. Always a competitive team, Vancouver has never won a Stanley Cup but came close in 2011 before losing in 7 games to the Boston Bruins, which then triggered the infamous Vancouver Riots. The Canucks have lost in the first-round in back-to-back years. It took five games for the Kings to upset Vancouver and just four for San Jose to defeat the ‘Nucks.

The Canucks plays their home games in downtown Vancouver at Rogers Arena since 1995. In the 2013 off-season Vancouver fired head coach Alain Vigneault and hired former New York Rangers coach John Tortorella. The franchise has won zero Stanley Cups despite claiming back-to-back Presidents’ Trophies is 2011 and 2012. Three conference and ten division titles belong to the Canucks and are definitely one the most decorated team in the last decade.

Notable players on the Canucks include Kevin Bieksa, Alex Edler, Daniel and Henrik Sedin and Roberto Luongo.

2013-14 Season Prediction: 49-33 (1st Place)
