The Calgary Flames are at home again tonight as they host the Nashville Predators in the second of three meetings between these two teams.
Nashville, with a record of 23-22-7 will be looking to keep their wins alive against the Flames who have a record of 12-27-7.
The Predators have won four of their last five games, and will be working to keep their win streak alive. With Shea Weber gaining five points in five games, the Flames have their work cut out for them. My suggestion; keep the puck away from Weber.
The Flames seem to be gaining momentum as the effort is getting better and they have won their last game against the Phoenix Coyotes. With Sean Monahan earning his 14th goal of the season and the return of Kris Russell into the line-up, the Flames have been hot on the heels of some of their opponents lately. Joe Colborne has been thrown into the mix as Bob Hartley has decided to try him on the wing, instead of center. Hartley told Flames TV that he believes it will speed up Colborne’s progression to play wing, but whether it’s temporary or permanent, he couldn’t say.
The projected lines for tonight’s game have Mikael Backlund centering Jiri Hudler and Lee Stempniak to start as T.J. Brodie and Mark Giordano take the first line on defense. Karri Ramo is in net.
Puck drop is 7pm MT.
Go Flames Go!
