It was an exciting NCAA hockey game with Johnny Gaudreau and Bill Arnold of Boston College facing off against Union in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center.

Not even three minutes into the game, Gaudreau, the most talked about Flames prospect right now, scored the first goal to put the Boston College Eagles up by one. Gaudreau’s style of hockey is like watching art play out on ice. During the second period, he single-handedly forced Union’s defenseman out of the zone, his wrap around goal attempts are unexpected, and he always seems to have great positioning in every play which leads to scoring chances.

Boston College fell to Union in the semifinal of the Frozen Four by a final score of 5-4, but even in the last four seconds, Gaudreau did not give up, taking one last chance on net.

A full recap of the game is on the Flames website as well as a post-game press conference with Bill Arnold and Gaudreau.

And now the question remains, what will become of Johnny Gaudreau in the next few days…?
