Good morning Calgary Flames fans.  Last day of August! The crispness entering the air is not Autumn, it’s hockey season on the way!

Last night, Flame For Thought re-introduced offensive defenseman Dennis Wideman.  The re-introduction article included a YouTube video of Dennis Wideman losing a skate edge during a shootout attempt and flying through the air like Superman.

Speaking of YouTube, Flame For Thought releases it’s first YouTube Video tomorrow (Monday September 1st) at noon.  The video was made to try to bring a smile and possibly a guffaw from whomever watches it.  Cannot wait to share it with all of you!

Patrick Schmidt, a writer within the FanSided family, recently released an article, “10 Bold Predictions about the 2014-15 season“.  Like so many others before him, Mr. Schmidt has pegged our Calgary Flames as winners of the Connor McDavid sweepstakes.  I have been called crazy for my belief that our Calgary Flames WILL NOT be in bottom two of the league and therefore WILL NOT be in the Connor McDavid sweepstakes.  Only time will tell, let’s play the games already!!
