Prior to the 10AM start to the Calgary Flames training camp, NHL.com released the following injury updates:
"Bennett, the No. 4 pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, is day-to-day with a groin injury, the Flames announced Friday. Also listed as day-to-day are defensemen Tyler Wotherspoon (shoulder) and Corey Potter (shoulder), and forwards Mikael Backlund (abdominal strain) and Emile Poirier (shoulder). Goalie Jon Gillies is battling the flu."
