Segment 2 of the Flame For Thought First Goal of the Game Contest begins on Sunday night when our Calgary Flames play the Montreal Canadiens. Here is hoping the game is just as exciting as their first meeting of the season at the Saddledome but with our Flames taking the 2-1 win instead of a loss.
Jesse Anttila won the October segment of the contest and earned himself a fancy dancy Flame For Thought keychain as well as a guaranteed entry into the April segment of the contest where the prize is a $150 gift certificate to Shop.Canada.NHL.com.
Let’s get November started!
Here’s your questions that you can answer here in the comment section below or via Flame For Thought Twitter or Facebook pages:
"1. Which Calgary Flames player will score first on November 2nd in Montreal?2. What time will the Calgary Flames score their first goal of the game on November 2nd in Montreal?"
Here’s how you collect points:
"All readers who correctly guess the Calgary Flame who scores first will be awarded two points. The reader who is closest to correctly guessing the time of the first Calgary Flame goal will be awarded one point. If the Flames are shutout and nobody predicts “n/a”, no points will be awarded for that game."
Here were the final contest standings for October:
1. Jesse Anttila 5 points
2. Paige Matlock 3 points
T3. Cole James Sonnleiter 2 points
T3. Sydney Fisher 2 points
5. Dervis Dindic-Flames 1 point
November the leaderboard goes back to zeros, good luck everyone.
