Congratulations to Shawn Mollison for earning another point in the latest First Goal Contest by being the entrant closest to the time which the goal was scored.  Once again, nobody was able to correctly guess which Calgary Flames player would score first.  With that point, Shawn Mollison moves into first place in the November segment of the contest.

Next opportunity to guess the Calgary Flames first goal of the game scorer comes this Thursday when the Chicago Blackhawks come to the Dome.  The Chicago Blackhawks will surely be looking to avenge October 15 loss to the Flames in which they fired 50 shots at Jonas Hiller.

In a continued effort to reward someone for finally correctly guessing the correct Calgary Flames 1st goal, I’m offering double points for any correct guesses. That’s 4 points!

Here are the questions:

"1. Which Calgary Flames player will score first on November20th versus Chicago?2. What time will the Calgary Flames score their first goal of the game on November 20th versus Chicago?"

I know the Calgary Flames twitter account does a 1st goal thingy of their own, but this first goal contest has prizing!  The November points leader wins a Flame For Thought keychain and the right to play in April for a $150 Shop.Canada.NHL.com gift certificate.

Predictions can be made here in the comment section or on the Flame For Thought TWITTER (don’t forget to follow us) or  FACEBOOK (give us a like please).

Here are the November Contest standings to date:

  1. Shawn Mollison 4 points
  2. Sydney Fisher 3 points
  3. Jesse Anttila 1 point

Good luck folks and Go Flames Go!
