Calgary Flames Vs Chicago Blackhawks, Good Luck Charms

facebooktwitterreddit

Our Calgary Flames enter tonights game versus the Chicago Blackhawks on a 4 game losing streak.  Our Flames have already played the Blackhawks twice this season.  Robbing them in Chicago on October 15th and narrowly losing to them in Calgary on November 2oth.  Instead of merely hoping the trend of the road team winning in our season series with the Blackhawks continues, I’m here to share some “lucky charms” to help break our Calgary Flames out of their slump.

For starters, it’s good luck that the Flames are not playing on the unlucky 13th day of the month!

Maybe instead of eating Wheaties for breakfast, the players could eat Lucky Charms the cereal for breakfast.  That cereal is celebrating it’s 50th, it’s got to be something right.  The sugar in the cereal should create a hot start to the game.  You would figure with Chicago playing Saturday night that they would endure the same 2nd period lag that our Flames would coming off the sugar rush.  Then it’s Coach Hartley’s conditioning regime to rescue in the third period.  I’ve started following Lucky Charms on Twitter (it can’t hurt).

The four-leaf clover is considered lucky.  I’m guessing they are hard to find in Chicago but this video will help whoever the “lucky” Flames personnel is sent to find one.

Finding a lucky rabbit’s foot in a flea market or pawn shop in Chicago should be a manageable task sometime between the morning skate and game time.

You have seen me use the “Excellent Edits” of Iggy Smalls. He now goes by Shem Moses and today I post one of his gameday edit’s from December 4th…the last time our Flames tasted sweet victory.

Whatever it takes boys, go get’em tonight Flames!!
