Happy Wednesday Calgary Flames fans! It’s game 4 day and tonight is do or die for the team. Let’s check out some Flames news.

The Calgary Flames will be looking to continue their playoff run against the Anaheim Ducks tonight. The Flames right now are down 3-0 in the series (I’m crying too). Tonight is do or die for the team. They lose and they’re out. They win and they get another shot.

Team don’t normally comeback from 3-0 deficits, but it has happened. And I feel like every Flames fan is hopeful right now. Honestly, as long as this team doesn’t get swept, I won’t cry. Just kidding, I’ll still cry.

Via Sportsnet:

"“Right now, we have nothing to lose,” said Matthew Tkachuk, whose team blew a 4-1 lead in Game 3 to fall behind 0-3 in the series. “We’re going to try to do everything in our power and just try to make them a little nervous over there.“I think they’re a team that doesn’t want to be embarrassed by a team that’s down 3-0. They have some pressure on them as well.”"

The Flames have made some lineup changes for tonight. Lance Bouma and Matt Stajan are out and Freddie Hamilton and Curtis Lazar are in. I’m excited for Lazar. He came here on a trade-deadline-day trade and even though he hasn’t played much, he’s still excited.

In his four regular season games as a Flame, he has three points. This will be his first playoff game as a Flame. His last playoffs was two seasons ago with the Ottawa Senators, however in six games, he had 0 points.

He will be on the fourth line tonight as a center with Freddie Hamilton and Troy Brouwer. I would like to see at some point him move up to the third line with Sam Bennett. Him and Bennett played well together when they were paired up during the regular season and I thought Lazar looked better on the wing. But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see for tonight.

"“I’ve waited for this opportunity for some time now. There’s nothing like playoff hockey.” Said Lazar.“Taking baby steps is how you build momentum. As we’ve seen in playoffs, momentum is a dangerous thing.“Once you get rolling, you’re hard to stop.“I can’t try and over-complicate things out there. Play a north-south game and have some fun.“I’m not going to re-invent the wheel out there. I’m just going to play my game. The big thing with playoff hockey is a lot of guys try to over-complicate things, do too much.“Just be yourself.”"
