Flame For Thought, FanSided’s home for Calgary Flames discussion, is looking for paid contributors!

Flame For Thought has steadily grown as FanSided’s home for Calgary Flames coverage since the site was first launched. The Flames have experienced a wide range of success and failure during that time, and the team here on site has been there to cover it all.

That has always been our goal here at Flame For Thought: To give our readers the very best Flames discussion that we possibly can.

Currently, the team is in the midst of a turnaround season following the disappointment of 2020-21. We want to hit each and every noteworthy topic pertaining to both the current season and the upcoming offseason with a full head of steam.

We need your help to do that.

Consider yourself a passionate fan? Read us or other Flames sites with regularity? Ever wonder if you should write about the team yourself? We are looking to add to our group of contributors and this could be your chance to join the team.

Role Description

We like to let our team write about the aspects of the Flames that they are most passionate about. Maybe you’re more of a transaction junkie and you want to talk about the impact a new signing could have. Perhaps you just want to chime in on current events. You may even want to show respect to the historical figures who paved the way. No matter what your pertinent interests may be, there could be a place for you here on the team at Flame For Thought!

Contributors are asked to write one post per month. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it.

We understand that everyone has their own motivation for wanting to write about their favorite team. No matter what your reason is, this is a chance to join a team of writers who are simply passionate about the Flames and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base.

Want to join us?

Submitting a proposal is easy. Just head on over FanSided.com/Join to submit your proposal today! It’ll give you a chance to share some insight into your background (prior online writing experience is not necessary but always encouraged) and let us know why you’d be a fit on site, so give it your best.

Please also include a pertinent writing sample to reflect your current knowledge of the Flames. This can be an original article written exclusively for the purpose of your proposal or an existing article published elsewhere.

Once you have submitted your proposal, we’ll be in touch from there.
