Flame For Thought is currently running a fan survey to collect data from the C of Red on a number of topics, which will be used to inform content here on the site. Among the survey’s questions is one inquiring about the respondent’s favourite player currently on the Calgary Flames roster.
The most interesting takeaway from this particular question is that there’s no runaway “fan favourite” – something that probably speaks to the lack of star power of the current Calgary Flames. In fact, 6.6 percent of respondents have specified they don’t even have a favourite and one fan even named Harvey the Hound as their favourite Flame. Additionally, the team’s two highest paid players – Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri – have combined for a total of zero votes (so far).
However, a handful of Flames did get some love in the survey responses. Let’s take a look at who fans have identified as their favourite players on the squad.
