4. Matt Coronato Snipe Against St. Louis

In 2024/25, Matt Coronato showed off a shot that has many in Calgary believing he can be a 25+ goal scorer for the next decade as a member of the Flames. While he posted just 18 in 2025/26, his goal against the Blues was his best, as he took a stretch pass from Brayden Pachal and finished it with an elite shot.

Late in the season, Coronato found his best play again, and as his chemistry with Morgan Frost and Matvei Gridin continues to grow, expect more confidence and more fantastic play like this from the young winger moving forward.
3. Ryan Lomberg Steals one in the Battle of Alberta
Ryan Lomberg is not known as a goal scorer, but in the Battle of Alberta on December 27th, he showed up when the team needed it most against their fierce rival. With the game tied at 1-1, Lomberg took advantage of a turnover, finishing it off quickly and showing off his excitement and passion as a result.

While it wasn't the best goal we've seen all year, given how much it meant to Lomberg and the team at home against the Oilers, it's easy to see why this is celebrated as one of the Flames top goals of the campaign.
