While Mikael Backlund doesn't often show off his skills, with almost two decades in the NHL, there's no doubting that he knows how to score some very impressive goals. This one in particular came early in the year against the Winnipeg Jets, as Backlund once again got a great feed from Blake Coleman before showing off the deke before finishing a fantastic goal.

It definitely wasn't the most impressive goal that Backlund has ever scored, but for a team that ranked last in goals per game, getting on the board in impressive manner is something to remember. Despite being 37-years of age, Backlund is still going strong, but out of his 17 goals, it's safe to say that this was his best of the campaign.

1. Zayne Parekh Stuns the NHL Against Los Angeles

It took all the way until the Flames final game of the regular season for the Flames to have their standout goal of the year, and to the shock of no one, it was the ultra skilled Zayne Parekh that was the one who got it.

In a game that many Flames fans were hoping to lose, Parekh put the team on his shoulders, and as he outmatched forward Taylor Ward, he dangled around him several times, showing off his elite edgework before scoring a goal that very few in the NHL could.

The entire SaddleDome was stunned following the goal, and while it was just a snipped of what Parekh can do at the next level, it's safe to say that it was one of the best goals scored by a Calgary Flames in a long, long time.
