The Calgary Flames 2026/27 season was set to be a disappointing one on the ice, but away from it, fans have plenty to look forward too, with the return of the 2004 throwback jersey, the farewell to the Scotiabank Saddledome and the rise of a potential young core.
That core has been on full display as of late, with the likes of Zayne Parekh, Aydar Suniev, Matvei Gridin and Matt Coronato thriving as the team have gone 5-2-0 in their last seven games.
However, one thing that many fans are looking forward too as much as anything is the release of a new jersey, and now NHL jersey manufacturer Fanatics have officially announced when we'll see the new design.
Fanatics Announce Release Date for Hometown Remix Jersey
Recently, we saw the Flames debut their '04 throwback jersey against the Detroit Red Wings, with social media absolutely loving what is clearly one of, if not the best jersey design in Calgary Flames history.
Already we knew that we would see the Hometown Remix jersey's nine times this season, with the first being next Friday, November 6th, and on Thursday, the team announced that next week, we will see the official reveal of the new sweater.

What do we Know About the Calgary Flames Hometown Remix Jersey?
Right now, there have been very few details released about the Flames new jersey, but what we do know is that gold will play a key role, with a tribute in some way to the Saddledome in its final year set to be very prominent.
Beyond that, what this jersey will look like is a complete mystery, with the details around just how much gold we'll see on this jersey bringing plenty of excitement to a Flames organization looking to establish an identity moving into the future and Scotia Place.
Ultimately, we'll have to wait until November 2nd just to see how this plays out, but given the excitement around the Flames newest jersey, fans are hoping that it doesn't fall flat as they look to establish at least one new look for the organization moving forward.
