Early in 2026/27, we've seen two prospects from the Calgary Wranglers make their way to the NHL already in Aydar Suniev and Jonathan Castagna, but that doesn't mean there haven't been others down there to keep an eye on.

Perhaps the most exciting of all are the two goaltenders forming the Wranglers tandem, and with the team going 3-1-0 to start the new season, both have excelled. Thus far, both have played two games, and as of right now, this is how their numbers look;

Arsenii Sergeev - 2-0-0, 1.50 GAA, .944 save percentage
Kirill Zarubin - 1-1-0, 3.54 GAA, .881 save percentage

As of right now, it's clear which one is the more pro-ready, but both have flashed immense potential, and whether or not the team score much in 2026/27 (which they have so far), they'll have a tandem that keeps them in games all season long.

Beyond that, there's been some great performers, with the following standing out for their production thus far (players 23 and under only);

William Stromgren - 2GP, 0G, 3A, 3P, -2
Axel Hurtig - 4GP, 2G, 0A, 2P, +0
Hunter Brzustewicz - 4GP, 1G, 1A, 2P, +1
Abram Wiebe - 4GP, 0G, 2A, 2P, +3
Andrew Basha - 4GP, 0G, 1A, 1P, +0
