All eyes this season were on the NCAA, with many Flames prospects expected to star there, but thus far, it's been Spokane Chiefs captain Chase Harrington that's stolen the majority of the headlines around the organization. This past week was absolutely no different, as he added his first hat-trick of the season this past week, and with the physical game still leading the way, he's been the Chiefs biggest star thus far.

Since our last update, Harrington has added three more goals and seven more points in just two games, with his season stats now looking like this: 8GP, 6G, 9A, 15P, +13, as he looks like one of the Flames best prospects right now.

The other two intriguing pieces in the WHL are Joe Iginla and Mace'o Phillips, and right now, both are excelling with their biggest strengths, with the numbers now looking like this for the rest of the Flames prospects in the WHL:

Joe Iginla: 10GP, 3G, 3A, 6P, +1
Mace'o Phillips: 9GP, 1G, 3A, 4P, +6
Bode Laylin: 9GP, 1G, 2A, 3P, +0
Jakub Leander: 9GP, 0G, 2A, 2P, +2

Over in the OHL, Simon Katolicky is off to a great start this season, with 3 goals through his first 12 games played, and as he continues to adjust to the game in North America, he's getting more comfortable and looking like a potential future pro in the Flames organization.

Simon Katolicky: 12GP, 3G, 2A, 5P, -3
