The Calgary Wranglers have had a strong start to the campaign. At this juncture, they have an 11-3-0 record and are at the top of the Pacific Division standings.

A significant reason for the Wranglers' strong start to the season has been the play of Calgary Flames prospect Rory Kerins. The 5-foot-10 forward has been dominating offensively, as he has 10 goals and 14 points in 14 games thus far.

This outstanding start to the season is a significant step in the right direction for Kerins. During this past season with the Wranglers, he had 16 goals and 32 points in 54 games. Right now, the promising Flames prospect is well on his way to surpassing those totals this season.

Kerins is not showing any signs of slowing down, as he is currently on a two-game point streak and has six points over his last eight games.

Seeing a prospect like Kerins starting to make a significant impact with the Wranglers is very encouraging. If he continues to play this well from here, we could very well end up seeing him get his first recall to the Flames' roster.

It will now be very interesting to see how Kerins builds on his excellent start to the 2024-25 season from here.
