The Calgary Flames have been a stop for many veteran forwards over the history of the organization, and while the team right now is building for the future, it wasn't too long ago that we saw the team full of veterans.
One of those players was Trevor Lewis, who appeared in 162 games for the Flames between 2021 and 2023, tallying 15 goals and 36 points in that time as he played a key role on the fourth line. His biggest moments during that time came during the Flames 2021/22 Stanley Cup Playoffs appearance, most notably an empty net goal that sealed Game 5 against the Dallas Stars in an iconic first-round series.
Now, at 39-years of age, the veteran has officially called it quits, announcing his retirement after last playing in the NHL a season ago with the Los Angeles Kings, retiring with 1,034 games under his belt.

The biggest moments of Lewis' overall career came with the Kings in the early 2010's, as he was an integral part of a team that lifted the Stanley Cup not once, but twice, with his physical style perfect for a fourth-line role throughout his career. We take this time to congratulate Lewis on a fantastic player and the memories he gave so many people, and thank him for the success he had during his two seasons with the Calgary Flames.
