The Calgary Flames are bidding farewell to the iconic Scotiabank Saddledome at the end of the 2026/27 campaign, and while the regular season home opener is still 10 days away, we got our second look at Flames hockey on Dome ice on Sunday.
Unfortunately, the team fell 4-2 against a Seattle Kraken team who began the pre-season with a win over the Vancouver Canucks, but of course, this loss came without the Flames top names on the ice. In terms of NHL talent that will be in the opening night lineup, there were only a few names in the team for Calgary, and unsurprisingly, those names impressed significantly.
