The Calgary Flames have made many trades in the past few seasons, and this summer we've already seen two big ones, with the team acquiring former No. 2 pick Simon Nemec while, in a separate deal, landing three draft picks for veteran winger Blake Coleman.
Clearly, there's still plenty of work to do for this roster to become competitive again, and in the few months before the 2026/27 season begins, there's a chance for the team to make a few more moves. It's unclear what Craig Conroy's intentions are and if this roster as currently constructed will be the one to start the regular season, and if it's not, there's options out there.
While they're only proposals, there are some intriguing trades that have been suggested, and today, we're going to take a look at these and grade how well they would help improve the Flames future.
