Adam Klapka is one of the most interesting pieces in the entire Calgary Flames organization, and after tallying 35 goals and 72 points in 98 games in his last two AHL seasons, there was hope for him at the NHL level. Obviously, it takes time to adjust to the NHL game, and given that he's 6-foot-8, 235 pounds, it's no surprise that he quickly adjusted to the physicality of life in the NHL.

However, Klapka is yet to find his game at the NHL level, as he sometimes forgets who he is as a physical force on the Flames fourth-line, but when he remembers, he can impact a game like no other with his physicality. In 79 games this year, Klapka had 6 goals and 18 points while being top-five in the NHL in hits, and while he's yet to truly find his role in the NHL consistently, when given the chance, he's proven that he can be a difference maker.

Grade: C+

Aydar Suniev

While all of the hype around the Flames future forward group involves Matvei Gridin, Cole Reschny, Ethan Wyttenbach and others, Aydar Suniev has slowly developed into a very promising prospect for Calgary. Suniev may have started off slow with the Wranglers in the AHL, but as he found his footing, he began to dominate, as he tallied 16 goals in his 57 games played this season.

Then, he got another opportunity in the NHL, and while he only had 1 assist across 6 games, he got more and more comfortable at both ends of the ice for the Flames. It's unclear whether he'll ever be a long-term piece for Calgary, but if given the right opportunity to grow next season in the NHL, there's a chance the team unveil a middle-six player for a long time to come.
