Dustin Wolf

After a promising rookie campaign in 2024/25, hopes rose for Flames star Dustin Wolf this season, with some hoping he could take a leap into the upper echelon of goaltenders in the NHL this year. While that didn't happen, the 25-year old was once again fantastic behind a very poor defensive group, with some stretches of play throughout the season showing exactly why the Flames committed to him long-term as their goaltender of the future.

Across a career high 57 games played, Wolf posted a 2.99 GAA and an .899 save percentage, and while there's still plenty of room for improvement, the consistency is coming along for the former No. 214 overall draft pick. Ultimately, if the Flames are to ever come out of this rebuild as genuine Stanley Cup contenders, the team need Dustin Wolf to be a star, and while he wasn't that in every start this season, he's taking steps towards being an elite goalie in the NHL.
