The Calgary Flames have one of the most iconic jerseys in all of hockey, and in 2026/27, they're set to wear them onto ScotiaBank SaddleDome ice for the final time, with their new arena expected to open in the fall of 2027.

Before the end of this past regular season, the Flames unveiled a patch that they will wear for their final season at the 'Dome, but beyond that, there's going to be more special news revealed for the organization. We already know that the NHL is set to introduce a 'Hometown Remix' series, similar to what we had with the Reverse Retro series, but instead a focus on the city that the team resides in.

For Calgary, many would expect some type of Stampede them, but now, leaks have officially begun, with both the Florida Panthers and New York Islanders have been revealed by inside sources. While the Flames jersey has not yet been revealed, new details from 'Icethetics' have given some insight into what the Flames new sweater could be looking like ahead of the new season.

According to the report, the Flames jersey them will have a 'SaddleDome tribute' of sorts, and while it's unclear just what that means, it could likely mean one of the more unique jerseys in franchise history. On top of that, the report noted that the jersey will be red, and with more details to come, it could be a huge part of the teams final season at the 'Dome.

During the reverse retro series, the Flames saw the return of Blasty as well as the 'Pedestal' jersey, but now, we're set to potentially see something that fans have never seen in Calgary.

The new line will officially launch in September, and while we may see a leak before then, for now, we've got these small details to go on, and it's something that should excite Flames fans ahead of their last campaign at the SaddleDome.
