The Calgary Flames have made their fifth trade this season under Craig Conroy (Tyler Toffoli, Nikita Zadarov, Elias Lindholm, Chris Tanev) and now Noah Hanifin. In return they get Daniil Miromanov, 2025 first round pick on a condition, and 2025 third round pick on a condition as well.

The current named player that the Flames will get in return is Daniil Miromanov, he has now signed a "two-year deal with an AAV of $1.25 million" contract extension with the Calgary Flames. Welcome to the team Daniil.

Daniil Miromanov's hockey career started in 2013-14 with the GTHL (Greater Toronto Hockey League) with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens U18AAA team, then progress to OJHL, QMJHL, VHL, KHL, Czechia, Czechia2, AHL for the Henderson Silver Knights and the big league NHL for Vegas Golden Knights.

This season 2023-2024, he has played the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) putting up a total of 6 points, which consists of 1 goal and 5 assists in the 5 games he has played. And shortly played for the Vegas Golden Knights, 4 games putting up 18:03 time on ice in total. He was undrafted, signed as a free agent by Vegas on March 16th 2021.

""...And then to be able to get Miromanov to come back and and add depth to already what we have, that was the main part of it too" "

Craig Conroy (General Manager)

Daniil Miromanov wasn't as readily available for a media interview as we saw with Artem Grushnikov but General Manager Craig Conroy set some time aside for Flames TV to chat with Brendan Parker about the trade and the details of the return.

It is reported that Daniil Miromanov won't be available to join the team in Tampa, instead he will join the team on Saturday in Florida.

There have been mixed reaction from the Flames fanbase regarding the return, some disappointed and some glad that Craig Conroy was able get in return Miromanov, a 1st round pick - which will remain intact even though it has conditions on the year, and a 3rd round pick - which will become a 2nd if Vegas Golden Knights win at least one round of the playoffs. It will be interesting to see what Miromanov can bring to the table and offer to the team.
