Team Sweden - Theo Stockselius

A few weeks ago, Theo Stockselius was one of the Flames most overlooked prospects, but after seeing how he dominated the game at the Summer Showcase both physically and with his skill, he's rightfully sky rocketed up prospect rankings.

Given his combination of size and skill, Stockselius stood out against other junior players, and in The Athletic's prediction, they have him as Sweden's 2C, but with Viggo Bjorck a chance to make the Winnipeg Jets opening night roster, he's likely to feature as their 1C in that case.

It's unclear just how good Stockselius can be, but after posting 9 goals and 20 points in 11 playoff games for Djurgarden Jr., he's shown that he can put it all together when completely healthy. If he does get the opportunity for Sweden, his stock could rise some more, and if this is a good season for him, don't be shocked to see him in North America again at some point in 2026/27.
