2. Calgary's Top Line Could Be Very Fun
Offensively, the Flames don't have a whole lot of talent, and when compared with other teams around the league, this forward group looks like one of, if not the worst in the entire National Hockey League. However, the team do have some intriguing young players, and against Vancouver, the Flames best line was on display, with the trio of Matvei Gridin, Morgan Frost and Matt Coronato making up what will be the Flames top line this season.
In this one, the trio continued to make chances for themselves, and on the powerplay they looked even better, and given how devoid this lineup is of elite level talent, this trio will do a lot of heavy lifting this season.
Whether or not they can produce at a high level, only time will tell, but with a combined 1 goal and 3 assists between them in this one, it's safe to say that they'll be relied upon to carry Calgary's offense this season.
