Last Thursday, the Calgary Flames dropped the puck on the final season in the history of the Scotiabank Saddledome, and after last nights defeat at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche, they've now played four of their 84 games this season.

In that time, the Flames have thoroughly been outplayed, as they've been outscored 23-6 in that time, and with an 0-4-0 record, the team are off to the exact start that most, if not all fans expected from them in 2026/27.

So, while the team have played the way we all saw coming, the team have struggled worse than anyone could have expected, and now, we'll take a look back at the first week of the season and discuss what we've learned already.
