The Calgary Flames prospect group may not be the most star studded in the National Hockey League, but as of right now, it's considered one of, if not the deepest pool in the entire league. With intriguing young players at every position, the Flames are set up well for the future, and in 2026/27 we'll get a glimpse of that future as Zayne Parekh and Matvei Gridin take up bigger roles in the lineup.
However, beyond this season is where things get exciting, and if the Flames can finally land their coveted 1C at a premium position in the 2027 NHL Draft, the future will be looking even hotter in Calgary in a new arena.
For now though, lets take a look at the prospect pool that's already been assembled by Craig Conroy and put all of them into a tier list based on their potential at the next level.
Authors note: This list includes only players that haven't yet made the NHL, and while the potential of players with just a few games played isn't yet decided, for this one, we wanted to address just players that hadn't yet made the league in any capacity.
