Don't need to re-sign these players

Given the Flames focus for the future and the players that took spots on the roster in 2025/26, there's simply no room for the likes of Victor Olofsson, Justin Kirkland, Jake Bean and Daniil Miromanov. While it could make sense to bring in some veterans that may be able to be dealt ahead of the trade deadline, as Craig Conroy has become efficient at getting future assets around deadline time, but right now, it doesn't make sense to waste a spot on any of these veterans.
Among the group of RFA's are John Beecher, Parker Bell, Lucas Ciona and Artyom Grushnikov, and while re-signing them to AHL deals would be a solid move, as of right now, with the depth coming through the organization, none are exceedingly necessary beyond anything more than depth.
On paper, the Flames roster at the NHL level is likely set without any of these players being re-signed, and given how many players the Flames are expecting to arrive at the professional level over the next 12 months, it makes sense for the team to have opportunities waiting for those young names.
