American Hockey League
This is the league most associated with the Flames as it is where the team will draw from in case of injury or moving out players in a trade, and this season, the Calgary Wranglers will feature many young prospects. On top of Tyson Gross, Aydar Suniev, Hunter Brzustewicz and others that appeared in the organization a year ago, we'll also see the full time arrival of Axel Hurtig, Jonathan Castagna and Andrew Basha, making this a team to watch for Flames fans.
While you can also catch the AHL on FloHockey, you can head down to the Saddledome at a very affordable price to see the Wranglers, who will feature several key pieces of the organization's future throughout the year.
The Wranglers season starts with a two-game series against the Abbotsford Canucks on October 2nd and 3rd, with the team desperately looking to bounce back from a rough, chaotic campaign in 2025/26.
