The Calgary Flames have been rather busy over the past few weeks, and after adding to one of the NHL's best prospect pools, they made a trade sending Blake Coleman to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for three future draft picks.

The deal was good for several reasons for Calgary, as they not only acquired three future draft picks, including a second and a third, but they also opened up a spot in their lineup that could be filled by a young player. Despite this, the team still have a surplus of players ahead of the 2026/27 NHL season, and given that Craig Conroy is intent on building this team for long-term success, more trades could be coming.

So, who else could the Calgary Flames deal this summer? And when would it make sense for the team to make these moves?
