Mike Cammalleri is set to return to the Flames line-up tomorrow night. During practice today, he was placed with Sean Monahan and T.J. Galiardi. The projected line-up for tomorrow also has him on the same line with Mony and Galiardi.

Because of Cammalleri’s return, two things have happened. The first was that Blair Jones was placed on waivers in order to be sent down to play for the Abbotsford Heat again. In my opinion, I would be surprised if Jones wasn’t picked up by some other team. He’s a good player and does a good job on the ice to help set up plays.

The second thing that happened was that Joe Colborne was moved back onto the fourth line as center. I guess his winger status was only temporary, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he is moved to the wing again if the situation called for it.

Here’s your smile of the day, brought to you by T.J. Galiardi. Recently, he did a spread in Avenue Magazine and Kristin Hallett talked to him about it on Flames TV. The other teammates had a lot to say about his magazine spot. Cammalleri summed it up simply by saying with a huge grin and then a chuckle, “I gotta admit, the guy is one good looking dude.” Yet, Ladislav Smid seemed a little more critical of Galiardi’s performance in front of the camera. With a special appearance by Craig Conroy, who has previously done some modelling of his own, we get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like in the dressing room after being in front of a camera as an ambassador for the NHL and the Calgary Flames. As Connie explained about the way his teammates ribbed him, he was “everywhere, everywhere throughout the whole building…they wouldn’t let it go…it lasted for months.” Be prepared, Gali, because it seems you could have a long few months ahead!
