It’s game day! The Calgary Flames will play host to the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight. Spencer Foo has also been recalled from Stockton.

Ahead of tonight’s game vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets, some people have been questioning the character in the Calgary Flames locker room since they’re on a six-game losing streak. Head coach Glen Gulutzan isn’t a big fan of these criticisms. In fact, he says they’re “B.S.”

Via Calgary Sun:

"“For me, that comes from sources that have no idea,” bristled Flames bench boss Glen Gulutzan after Wednesday’s practice. “I’ve been in a lot more locker-rooms than a lot of people that are spouting off, and there’s really good character in that room.“Nobody knows the inner-workings of our group better than us. We have guys getting handed Muhammad Ali awards, and we’re questioning character now? That’s B.S. in my mind. No one is in that room.“Everyone wants to point blame, but the blame, at the end of the day, goes to the guys that are running it, not the players in there. That’s me. So to question their character? That’s B.S.”"

Spencer Foo was also recalled this morning from Stockton. He won’t be in the lineup tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets, but he’ll supposedly be in against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday evening. Which will be an exciting game for him since, not only will it be his NHL debut, but it will be against the team he grew up cheering for.

And a team that also offered him a contract and he ended up signing with Calgary instead. So of course Flames fans are fans of him.

The Calgary Flames will have to watch out tonight for those pesky Blue Jackets. The other night, the Oilers were up 3-0 on them and the Blue Jackets ended up beating them 7-3. They ended up tying it within the first period and all within about four minutes. So that must have been fun.
