The 2026 NHL Draft is quickly approaching, and with the Calgary Flames having eight picks in the first three rounds, it could be a historic night for a franchise that finally accepted their fate in 2025/26. Two of those picks come in the first-round, and while the No. 6 pick and the opportunity to add a blue chip prospect gets all of the attention, their late first-round pick will be incredibly valuable as well.

As of right now, we don't know exactly where the pick will be beyond 30-31, with the Golden Knights on the precipice of defeat in the Stanley Cup Finals, but given the depth of this draft, there's going to be a potential NHLer waiting to be selected by Calgary late in the first round.

Recently, we did a mock-draft roundup covering the predictions of several major outlets in regards to No. 6 overall, and today, we'll do the same for the Flames late first-round pick, revealing who was selected most by the best and brightest in hockey media, covering 10 mock drafts ahead of the 2026 NHL Draft.
