The 2024 Stanley Cup Finals are officially over, and with the 2024 NHL Draft and free agency right around the corner, things are about to get busy for the Calgary Flames organization. Still, it's never too early to look to next season, as the Flames have now officially unveiled the pre-season schedule ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
The schedule won't see them venture too far, as the eight games played will feature six matchups against Canadian rivals, with just one game to take place outside of Canada against the Pacific Division's Seattle Kraken. There's still plenty of time between now and then for the Flames to drastically improve their roster, whether that be towards competing or rebuilding, but it won't take long for fans to see their team on the ice.
Once the frenzy of the NHL draft and free agency slow down, the team will have around three months before the pre-season begins, and with so much intrigue heading into the new season with potential new faces on the team, this should be a fun start to what will be one of the most important seasons in recent Calgary Flames memory.
