The lone bust on this list is winger Filip Zadina, who was selected No. 6 overall by the Detroit Red Wings back in 2018, and while he showed plenty of potential, he just never produced at a high level. Zadina made a splash for Detroit back in 2019/20, posting 8 goals and 15 points across 28 games, but unfortunately, he peaked just a few years later with 24 points in 2021/22.

Since that time, he struggled for consistent playing time and production, as he has spent the last two seasons playing in Switzerland, with an NHL return unlikely at the age of 26. As of right now, Zadina's NHL career looks like this: 262 games played, 41 goals, 91 points, and while that's not the worst career, as a former No. 6 overall pick, it's certainly a disappointing level of production for a player that is now out of the NHL.
